pen tool

The illustrator drawing I chose to make was a camera. I saved the format as a GIF. This file mostly consists in two colours; black and white. this means it will only need 1 bit to represent each pixel, GIF is the better format because there are not a lot of colour it wont reduce the colours represented. in illustrator i used the pen tool to trace the image of a camera with the fewest anchor points as possible. One of the changes I had, was trying to make a proper edge/curve in my vector drawing. I tried my best to line up my edges perfectly.  On the other hand, I think the reflection of the lens looks accurate. I am content with the way it turned out, but  think I could have done better.

PIXEL portrait

 GIF
PNG

Both image formats look very similar; one is the GIF and the other is a PNG. After enlarging both formats, the PNG appears to be slightly darker. There is a fine colour adjustment comparing both formats. During the process of creating this pixel portrait, I tried to capture some personal features.

Logo

My company works with graphic design. I chose to use a black panther and my logo because it represents strength, fast, and powerful; which is what y company will guarantee.
I wanted to keep my logo very simple. It is based on mostly curved lines. I made a bold outline of the panther, so you can visually see the shape of his face and body. In the coloured logo, the outline is red. The panther is positioned ready to leap. the font i used was arial. I think the font is simple and confident. I made sure to create this logo with a great contrast. I think the logo turned out well. I Think I could have improved by retouching the lines. I personally like the black and white logo better. I used the pen tool to trace around the image, and created different layers for: the body, the legs, the head, and the eyes. I filled the body black, and changed the colour f the outline to red. When  finished, I put the title of my company and the bottom left corner.
